How to Install jgit-cli software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

jgit-cli software package provides Java implementation of GIT version control (command line interface), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jgit-cli 

jgit-cli is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jgit-cli package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jgit-cli *
